The All-New Rolex Oyster Perpetual Land-Dweller
The headline release of 2025 is the Oyster Perpetual Land-Dweller, Rolex’s first entirely new model since the 1908 was unveiled in 2023. A clear nod to the vintage Oysterquartz, it features an integrated bracelet and a meticulously laser-etched honeycomb dial that brings both retro charm and a futuristic edge.
At its heart is the new Calibre 7135, operating at a high frequency of 5 Hz. This movement enhances resistance to shocks and magnetism while delivering a 66-hour power reserve. The Land-Dweller is offered in 36mm and 40mm options. The 40mm model comes in white gold and Oystersteel or platinum with a fluted bezel, while the 36mm shines in Everose gold with a diamond-set bezel. With this launch, Rolex underscores its ability to innovate while honouring archival design codes.
Rolex’s Refreshed Classics: New Dial and Design Upgrades on Watches
GMT-Master II
To celebrate 70 years of the GMT-Master, Rolex released two fresh takes on the GMT-Master II. One sports a grey and black Cerachrom bezel, black lacquer dial, and green 24-hour hand. It can be matched with either a Jubilee or Oyster bracelet. The second features a dial crafted from tiger iron—a striking mix of tiger’s eye, red jasper, and hematite. Housed in Everose gold, it pairs naturally with a brown and black Cerachrom bezel. Both continue to run on the calibre 3285, offering dual time zones and a 70-hour power reserve.
Perpetual 1908
Rolex adds natural stone dials to the Perpetual 1908 line, including malachite and lapis lazuli. Each dial is paired with a colour-coordinated leather strap and set in either white or yellow gold. The stone surfaces prompted a slight redesign—the time display now sits centrally on a flatter dial to protect the delicate materials. The result is a dress watch that blends elegance with the organic beauty of natural textures.
Perpetual 1908 Collection
Oyster Perpetual
This collection gets a vibrant makeover with new pastel dials: lavender (28mm), sandy beige (36mm), and pistachio green (41mm). Each shade is applied in a matte lacquered finish—a first for Rolex. The 41mm model also introduces a refined Oyster case and slimmer Oysterclasp. All watches are housed in Oystersteel and powered by Calibres 2232 or 3230, delivering chronometer-grade precision and 100m water resistance.
Datejust
Rolex introduces a bolder personality to the Datejust watch with a new red gradient dial set in full yellow gold. Diamonds accent the dial, bringing glamour to this timeless model. The new look maintains the practical elegance of the Datejust while catering to collectors who appreciate a standout style.
Cosmograph Daytona
The Daytona sees a refreshing aesthetic in 2025 with a turquoise blue lacquer dial and contrasting black sub-dials. The watch is housed in 18 ct yellow gold with a black Cerachrom bezel and a sporty Oysterflex bracelet. Inside is the calibre 4131 with a skeletonised oscillating weight, 72-hour power reserve, and Rolex Côtes de Genève finishing—offering both performance and refinement.
Sky-Dweller
For 2025, the Sky-Dweller gets a vivid sunray green dial. This elegant travel companion is now offered with a full-gold Jubilee bracelet for the first time. The calibre 9002 powers this Rolex watch, combining dual time zones and an annual calendar with a 72-hour power reserve. It remains the go-to Rolex for frequent flyers who demand both function and flair.
